John Chambers

John Chambers currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and VP of Compliance at Upstart since October 2021. Prior to this, John held the position of VP - Enterprise Financial Crimes Compliance at U.S. Bank from November 2016 to October 2021, where John was involved in various leadership roles within the Compliance Program Office and Financial Intelligence Unit. Additionally, John spent a decade at JPMorgan Chase from July 2006 to October 2016, serving as Executive Director in Consumer & Community Banking and taking on various leadership roles in Risk Management, Audit, and Controls. John holds both a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus in Finance from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
