Xinyu Xia

Xinyu (Angel) Xia is a skilled professional with extensive experience in product analytics and data science. Currently serving as a Staff Product Analyst at Upstart since December 2023, Xinyu previously held the position of Product DS Lead and Staff Data Scientist at Block, focusing on the commerce product within Cash App. Prior to Block, Xinyu was the Head of Consumer Lifecycle Analytics at Afterpay, contributing to growth product and marketing initiatives, and also held roles as Analytics Lead and Senior Analyst, being a founding member of Afterpay US with responsibilities in risk, analytics, sales, and marketing. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Vice President and Risk Analysis Specialist at Bank of America and various analytical roles, including Equity Research Analyst Competitor for the CFA Institute Research Challenge. Xinyu holds a Master of Management Studies from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Management of Information Systems from UBC Sauder School of Business.
