Prathamesh Salunkhe

Prathamesh Salunkhe has a strong background in software engineering and leadership roles. Prathamesh started their career as a Business Technology Analyst at Deloitte U.S. India offices in 2014. Later, they worked as a Software Developer 2 at Super, which was later acquired by Crowdfire, from 2015 to 2017. At Crowdfire, they served as a Tech Lead - Backend and led the architecture and development of microservices for user identities and profiles. Prathamesh also contributed to the development of a data platform and warehouse, and mentored colleagues in implementing best software engineering practices.

In 2018, Prathamesh co-founded a tech-focused digital agency called PaperPencil. As a co-founder, they built a diverse team and developed the platform for TopHire, focusing on scalability and user activation. Prathamesh also worked with startups, providing data-driven solutions and projects.

Currently, Prathamesh is working at Upstox since 2019, where they started as a Tech Lead and is currently holding the position of Principal Engineer. In this role, they have been responsible for architecting and building various systems to support company growth and improve performance. Prathamesh has also played a pivotal role in hiring and mentoring a team of 10+ engineers. Prathamesh's technical skills include Java, Node.js, Kafka, and various other technologies.

Prathamesh Salunkhe completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their High School education from St. Augustine's High School. Prathamesh also completed their Higher Secondary education in Computer Science from St. Mary's Junior College from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Prathamesh obtained certifications in Software Development Trainee from Aspiring Minds in 2012 and Virtualization and Cloud Computing from Technophilia in the same year.
