Alex S. has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and infrastructure.

They began their career as a Technical Support Specialist at Donbass Arena, providing technical support to users and during soccer matches, including the UEFA Euro 2012.

They then worked as a Security Systems Specialist at Shakhtar Plaza Hotel before becoming an IT Manager at Stolichniy Hotel, where they improved IT services and implemented systems for telephony, Wi-Fi, and automated payment solutions.

After that, they worked as an IT Technician (Contract) at the Toronto Catholic District School Board, installing and maintaining software and hardware resources.

They then served as an IT Supervisor at Golden Resort, overseeing the implementation of the IT infrastructure and department.

At CIT Corp., they worked as a Technical Support Engineer, designing technical architectures and managing on-premise and cloud infrastructure and services.

They then joined Upstream Works Software as a Support Analyst, providing technical application support, and later became a Senior Support Analyst, leading the support team and managing internal ticketing system issues.

They also worked as an Infrastructure Analyst, leading infrastructure projects and designing, implementing, and maintaining client infrastructure and services.

At Messagepoint, they worked as a Cloud Operations Engineer before returning to Upstream Works Software as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer and later as a Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer II/Lead. Their most recent role at Upstream Works is as a Staff Infrastructure Engineer/Manager.

Alex S. completed a short-term course in Business Presentations & Public Speaking at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies in 2018. Prior to that, Alex pursued a Master's degree in Telecommunications Systems and Networks from Donetsk National Technical University between 2011 and 2013. Earlier, Alex completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university, graduating in 2011.
