Bing Shen has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering. Bing started their career as a Software Developer at Beijing Institute of Control Engineering, where they worked on the development of a satellite control system. Bing then joined Xinnet as a Technical Director, managing a software R&D department and contributing to the development of domain name registry and payment systems.
After Xinnet, Bing worked at CIeNET Technologies as a Senior Consultant, where they played a key role in a major wireless communication project for Motorola telecom. Bing collaborated with international developers and was responsible for the development of new features in the OM system.
Following CIeNET Technologies, Bing joined Schlumberger as a Senior Project Engineer. Bing took on various roles including Project Architect, Team Leader, and Technical Lead. Their focus was on the development and maintenance of a bulk data computation framework for the Maxwell project, with an emphasis on high-performance computation.
Later, Bing worked at Quanser as a Software Developer and Integrator, specializing in Dynamics CRM and web development for customer management, sales, and marketing activities.
Currently, Bing is working at Upstream Works Software as a Senior Software Developer. Their main responsibilities include customer integration services and the development of AI chat bots using natural language analysis. Bing was also the programming hackathon champion in 2019 for creating an AI chat bot.
Bing Shen obtained their Bachelor's degree in Automatic control from Huazhong University of Science and Technology during the period of 1990 to 1994. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA) from the Beijing Institute of Technology, which was completed between 1994 and 1997.
