Janny Chen

Janny (Danying) Chen, Ph.D., serves as a VR Consultant, Instructional Designer, and Customer Success Manager for APAC at Uptale since January 2024, focusing on the adoption of immersive learning solutions. Previous roles include Learning Program Lead at Kydon Group, where over 300 microlearning courses were developed using advanced AI tools, and Solution Consultant at NTUC LearningHub, responsible for designing microlearning experiences and conducting Learning Needs Analysis. Janny's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Human Resources Development from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, complemented by a Master of Education and a Master of Arts in Political Science. Additional experience encompasses roles as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant during doctoral studies and project coordination for international programs.
