Rachel Spears

Rachel Spears, CPA, has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Rachel started their career as a Staff Auditor at Maggart and Associates in 1999 before moving to Ingram Industries, where they worked as a Staff Auditor, Senior Auditor, and Staff Accountant. In 2003, Rachel joined Cardinal Health as a Business Analyst. Rachel then joined Lightning Source as the Manager of Financial Analysis & Planning from 2005 to 2006. Rachel continued to progress in their career with roles at LifeWay Christian Resources, where they served as a Merchandise Planner, Marketing Analyst, and Finance Manager for the B&H Publishing Imprint. Rachel later worked as a Sr Pricing Analyst at Brookdale before becoming a Finance Manager at JLL. Rachel then joined Ncontracts as a Sr Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and eventually became the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Financial Planning Analysis at Uptempo.

Rachel Spears, CPA holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from Freed-Hardeman University, which they obtained between 1995 and 1998. Additionally, they are currently pursuing a Masters degree in Corporate Finance at Southern New Hampshire University, expected to be completed between 2021 and 2023. Rachel Spears also holds certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
