Samantha Strain

Samantha Strain is an accomplished professional in the healthcare and dental sectors, currently serving as Chief Development Officer and Partner at HealthStream Ventures since June 2021. Strain co-founded and manages DoubleMint, a company collaborating with leading visionaries in oral health, and holds the position of General Partner at Cara Capital, a venture capital platform focused on democratizing healthcare investments. Additionally, Strain acts as a strategic advisor and investor for several innovative organizations, including vVARDIS, PrestoSmile®, Curve Dental, UptimeHealth, and Two Front. Strain also contributes as a Board Member and Innovation Chair at Dental Entrepreneur Media and previously served as Interim Chief Executive Officer at Health Professional Resources. Education was completed at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management.
