Anoop Mathew

Anoop Mathew has over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Anoop began their career in 2001 as a Management Trainee with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, eventually becoming a Restaurant Controller. In 2006, they joined Lake Merced Golf Club as Controller where they developed a comprehensive customer acquisition model and successfully presented it to the Board of Directors. In 2012, they moved to Symantec as a Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, where they led a global team to forecast the company's revenues. In 2015, they joined Gruppo Chiarello, Michael Chiarello Hospitality Group as Head of Finance. In 2017, they moved to Back of The House, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer. Currently, they are the Chief Financial Officer of Upward Projects Restaurant Group | Postino WineCafe | Joyride Taco House | Windsor | Federal Pizza since 2019.

Anoop Mathew completed their MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2012. Prior to this, they obtained a BSC in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and a Bachelor's Degree in International Hotel Management from the Hotel Institute Montreux.
