Matt Edelman

Matt Edelman is a seasoned product management professional with extensive experience in leading teams and driving product vision across major technology companies. Currently serving as GM, VP Emerging Business at Upwork since January 2023, Matt previously held the position of Senior Director of Product Management at Yahoo, where significant contributions included shaping the product strategy for Yahoo Ryot Studios and managing a global team. Prior to Yahoo, Matt served in various roles at Verizon Media, including overseeing Yahoo Media Experiences and the News & Entertainment product portfolio. Matt's career started at Yahoo in 2013, progressing from Associate Product Manager to Principal Product Manager, contributing to key product launches and strategies. Earlier experiences include software development roles at Northrop Grumman Corporation and Applied Minds. Matt holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
