Hatim Abdalla

Hatim Abdalla has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Hatim has held leadership positions at various organizations, showcasing their expertise in product management, cloud services, and technical consulting.

Starting with their most recent role, Hatim Abdalla is currently the Head of Product at uqudo, a position they began in December 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded Savvi in January 2021 and played a key role as a Co-Founder until May 2023.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Hatim served as the AWS Global Technology Lead - Group Development at Computacenter from August to December 2020. In this role, they were responsible for defining the technical aspects of the AWS portfolio and managing the long-term strategy with AWS.

From July 2019 to August 2020, Hatim worked at Cloudreach, where they held multiple roles. As the Head of Application Modernisation, they led efforts to expand the Cloud Application Development Services. Furthermore, as the Head of Products and Solutions, and later as the Head of Products and Partnerships, they managed teams responsible for developing and managing professional services offerings and partnerships with leading cloud platforms and ISV tooling partners.

Hatim's earlier experiences include working at Ogilvie Communications Ltd as a Senior Technical Consultant in 2011, at Ballintrae as a Senior Engineer from 2010 to 2011, at SymetriQ Limited as the Head of Engineering from 2009 to 2010, and at Lumison (now Pulsant) in various roles such as Voice and Data Network Engineer, Telco Operations Engineer, and Senior Technical Support Engineer/Managed Services Engineer from 2004 to 2009.

Throughout their career, Hatim has demonstrated a strong technical background and leadership skills in driving innovation, managing partnerships, and delivering successful projects.

Hatim Abdalla attended Heriot-Watt University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification from Amazon Web Services in May 2016, and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification in February 2015.
