Jaime Vela-Hidalgo de Olarte has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Currently, they work as a Regional Operation Manager for Urb-It, where they are responsible for daily production supervision, team performance, and workforce management. In addition, they support the operational creation of products and services, analyzing customer data and calculating operational needs and costs. Jaime also manages expansion projects, finding locations, personnel, and suppliers to achieve company objectives.

Prior to this, Jaime worked as a Sales Engineer for Rhenus Warehouse Solutions from December 2020 to March 2022. Before that, they held multiple roles at ALC - Actividades Logísticas Centralizadas, S.L. From March 2020 to November 2020, they served as a Warehouse Manager, overseeing warehouse operations. From May 2017 to March 2020, they worked as a Process Engineer and Continuous Improvement Manager, conducting studies on infrastructure and operational needs for client objectives, performing economic viability assessments, and analyzing process maps and KPIs. From June 2016 to June 2017, they held the position of Account Manager, managing warehouse control, merchandise operations, and customer services.

Jaime's early work experience includes a role as a Decorator for Kitchens and Bathrooms at El Corte Ingles from May 2010 to November 2014. In this position, they provided commercial advice on furniture materials and finishes, designed projects using 3D design tools, and managed the sales process, including ordering furniture and tracking orders through SAP.

Jaime Vela-Hidalgo de Olarte pursued a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management & Logistics from EAE Business School, completing their studies in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Green Belt - Lean Six Sigma certification from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2019. From 2014 to 2020, they studied Ingeniería en la Edificación, specializing in Technology of Architecture and Construction, also at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. In 2008, Jaime obtained a Titulo Propio Autodesk Maya from Trazos, focusing on graphic arts.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jaime has obtained several certifications. In 2021, they received the Advanced Microsoft Excel certification from Aglaia Consulting. In 2019, they obtained the Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Global Lean, and in 2017, they acquired the Excel 2013 Professional certification from Randstad.
