Jiayi Jin

Jiayi Jin is a validated expert with extensive experience in academia and architectural practice. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor and previously holding positions as a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in Architecture at Northumbria University since January 2018, Jiayi also founded Inter-lab in December 2013, a research-led studio focusing on buildings, exhibitions, and ideas. Additional roles include Architectural & Design Strategist at Gensler from June 2014 to June 2024, and contributions as a Studio Tutor and Module Tutor at The University of Nottingham from October 2014 to December 2017. Jiayi's recent engagement as a Visiting Scholar at The Ohio State University reflects a commitment to research immersion. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Architecture, both received from the University of Nottingham.
