Tiago Ferreira

Tiago Ferreira is an innovative leader in economic development, entrepreneurship, and social sustainability with extensive experience spanning over a decade. As the Executive Director and Founder of Aliados Consulting since May 2015, Tiago has focused on innovation consultancy in various sectors, including European funding and social innovation. Current roles include serving on the Board of Directors for Smart Waste Portugal, Lead Expert for URBACT, and European Urban Initiative Expert, providing support to European cities in sustainable development initiatives. Tiago has also contributed to academia as a guest professor at Porto Business School and the Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto, specializing in entrepreneurship. Previous executive leadership at InvestAmarante included developing programs for employability, technology hubs, and tourism strategies. Tiago's educational background includes a Master's in Innovation Economics from the University of Porto and an Integrated Master's in Civil Engineering.
