Mat Sokol

Mat Sokol is an accomplished designer with extensive experience in architecture, holding positions at Urbahn Architects, CSA Group, and Laguarda.Low Architects, among others. Since March 2023, Mat has been contributing to Urbahn Architects as a designer, previously working as a designer and BIM specialist at CSA Group from March 2021 to February 2023. Mat's skill set includes 3D modeling and utilizing digital tools like Grasshopper to enhance the design process across various mixed-use projects. Prior roles include research on plant roots for architectural applications at Terreform ONE and project management responsibilities at Artenova of New York, where coordination and compliance were key focuses. Mat holds a Master of Architecture II from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, further enriching a solid foundation in architectural education.
