Joelle Blackstock

Director, Post-secondary Success at Urban Arts Partnership

Joelle hails from Queens, NY and received her Bachelors in both Film and African American Studies from Temple University and then her Master’s degree in Africana Studies from New York University. What once started out as a love for movies and storytelling, quickly transformed into a desire to service, educate, and help people craft their own stories. Now in her role as Manager of Post-Secondary Success, she helps students apply to college, introduces them to mentors and professional development opportunities, and finds pathways for them to connect and stay connected with UAP.
