Kevin Young

Kevin Young has been working in the construction industry for over 20 years. Kevin began their career in 1998 at M.D. Carlisle Construction Corp as a Project Manager. In 2014, they joined Plaza Construction as a Plaza Superintendent, where they were part of the construction management team on a downtown NYC renovation job of a 65 story landmark building. In 2015, they moved to HFZ Capital Group as a Construction Superintendent. In 2016, they joined Gilbane, Inc. as a Lead Superintendent and, in 2020, they became a Senior Project Superintendent at Urban Atelier Group.

Kevin Young began their educational journey at Holy Family High School from 1979 to 1983. Kevin then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Manhattan College from 1983 to 1987. Kevin has also obtained various certifications, such as the CSFS CONSTRUCTION SITE FIRE SAFETY MANAGER from the NYC Fire Dept in October 2017, the NYC Site Safety ID Card Site Safety Training Supervisor SST from TSCTA in September 2019, the NYC DoB Superintendents License from the NYS Department of Buildings, OSHA 10 from OSHA-Safety-Training.com, and OSHA 30 Safety Certification from OSHA-Safety-Training.com.
