Kristen Hypes

Kristen Hypes is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Urban Atelier Group since November 2020, Kristen previously held the position of Human Resources Manager at Park Hyatt New York, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with Local 6 Union and assisting in investigations. Prior roles include Area Assistant Manager of Talent Acquisition at Hyatt Hotels, serving multiple properties, and HR liaison at Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego. Earlier career experience includes a position as Boutique Manager/Retail Buyer at Andaz Hotels by Hyatt and as Personal Assistant at First American Title. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a communication emphasis in English from San Diego State University and has studied at Cuyamaca College.
