Veronica Heitz is an experienced psychotherapist currently working on a contractual basis at Urban Balance since October 2012 and at Community Counseling Centers of Chicago since January 2011. At Community Counseling Centers of Chicago, responsibilities include performing needs assessments, conducting intake assessments, treatment planning, and providing therapy for individuals, families, and couples, along with substance abuse counseling. Prior experience includes serving as a clinical therapist at SOS Children's Villages Illinois and Chicago Lakeshore Hospital, where Veronica facilitated therapeutic groups, conducted screenings, and engaged in individual counseling. Veronica holds a Master’s degree in Community Agency Counseling from Saint Xavier University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago.
