June Thomson

June Thomson has a wide range of work experience, starting with their role as a Retail Director at Aritzia from 2006 to 2008. June then worked as a Regional Director at Guess from 2008 to 2011. Following that, they became the Director of Operations at YYoga from 2011 to 2013, and then Chief Operating Officer at YYoga from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they founded and operated their own business as a Lifestyle & Fitness Coach. After that, they worked as a Director at Tiffany & Co. from 2018 to 2019. Most recently, they held the position of Director of Store Operations at Aritzia from 2019 to 2023. June is currently employed as the Director of Sales and Store Operations at Urban Barn, starting in July 2023.

June Thomson holds a Certificate in Strategic Leadership from the Sauder School of Business at UBC, which they obtained from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, they completed the Landmark Forum and Advanced Course at Landmark. From 1990 to 1992, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Philosophy at the University of Ottawa. In 2015, they obtained a CrossFit Level 1 Certification from CrossFit Inc - Forging Elite Fitness, focusing on Health and Physical Education/Fitness and Functional Movement. Lastly, from 2015 to 2016, they studied Fitness Theory, Weight Training, and Personal Trainer courses at Canadian Fitness Education Services in the field of Health and Physical Education/Fitness.
