John van Oost

John van Oost has a long history of work experience in the fields of venture capital, real estate investment, and corporate finance. John began their career in 1996 as a Managing Director at Grubb & Ellis Europe. In 2000, they moved to DTZ Corporate Finance as a Managing Director. In 2001, they co-founded Captiva Capital Management, where they served as Managing Partner. In 2006, they co-founded Alstria Office REIT and served as Deputy Chairman. In 2016, they co-founded Urban Campus and served as CEO. In 2018, they co-founded Square Sense and served as Executive Chairman. In 2015, they co-founded Fluxus Ventures LLP, where they currently serve as Managing Partner.

John van Oost obtained a BS in Economics and Quantitative Finance from KU Leuven between 1986 and 1990. John then obtained an MBA from KU Leuven in 1991. In 2013, they obtained a certification in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies from Stanford University, as well as an Executive Program certification from Singularity University. Finally, in 2014-2016, they obtained a MS in Material Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
