Mukund started their career at ITC Limited as a Manager of Manufacturing. Mukund then moved to The Boston Consulting Group where they worked as a Summer Consultant and later a Project Leader. In 2011, they left BCG to join LiveWell Institute of rehabilitation medicine as a Consultant. Mukund helped set up the operating processes at the center and worked with the local leadership team in determining the medium term growth strategy.
In 2015, Mukund joined Zomato as their Chief Business Officer. Mukund was responsible for Permanently moving to the New Delhi, India office in June 2014. During their time at Zomato, they were a core member of the Technology Media & Telecom (TMT) practice.
In 2018, Mukund left Zomato to join Urban Company as their SVP of Business.
Mukund Kulashekaran has an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, as well as a BE in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
