Danae Vaccianna has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Danae began their career as an Environmental Coordinator at the Urban Development Corporation in 2006. In 2008, they ventured into event planning and became the Owner and Operator of Ends of the Earth Event Planning. In 2017, they briefly took on the role of General Manager at the Caymanas Golf and Country Club. Prior to that, they worked as a Deputy Quality, Safety, and Environmental Manager at Bouygues Travaux Publics from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they served as a Project Manager at the Jamaica Conservation and Development Trust from 2003 to 2004. Danae Vaccianna has accumulated valuable experience in sales, environmental coordination, event planning, management, and project coordination throughout their career.
Danae Vaccianna holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Environmental Policy and Tourism Management, which was obtained from Oxford Brookes University between 1999 and 2002. In 2017 and 2018, Danae pursued further education and completed a Masters degree in Sustainable Energy and Climate Change from the University of Technology, Jamaica. In 2016, Danae attended Suzhou University of Science and Technology (SUST) China for a short course on Pollution Control and Prevention.
Continuing their education, Danae obtained a Certificate of participation in Corporate Sustainability: Understanding and Seizing the Strategic Opportunity from Coursera online learning in 2022.
Additionally, Danae holds a certification as a Project Manager (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, obtained in June 2013.
