Jen (Feltz) Hense

Jen (Feltz) Hense is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in nonprofit management and fundraising. Currently serving as the Executive Director at Urban Ecology Center since September 2015, Jen has successfully designed a comprehensive fundraising strategy that contributes to a $4 million annual revenue goal, achieving over 10% growth year over year. Previously, Jen held the position of Executive Director at YMCA of Greater Waukesha-Tri-County Branch, managing a $3.6 million operation and a large staff. Jen also led camping services at YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee, directing strategic planning efforts that strengthened program outcomes. With a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Jen has demonstrated a commitment to serving diverse communities and enhancing youth experiences through impactful programs both in camp settings and educational partnerships.
