Joheen Agenbach

Joheen Agenbach is an experienced professional in development economics and consultancy, currently serving as the Managing Director of Urban-Econ:NIKELA since its inception in March 2020. With a focus on creating a capable workforce and sustainable enterprises, Joheen has played a key role in establishing the consultancy within the Urban-Econ group. Prior to this, Joheen held various positions at Urban-Econ Development Economists, including Manager of the Skills and Enterprise Development Unit and Development Economist, as well as Manager of the Agri-Business and Rural Development Unit. Joheen's career also includes experience as a Junior Partner at Contour Project Managers and as a Development Economist at Kayamandi. Joheen holds a Master's degree in Development Studies from the University of the Free State and a Bachelor's degree in Planning from North-West University.
