Katherine M. Sandstrom

Ms. Sandstrom brings deep experience in real estate investment including more than twenty years of service at Heitman, LLC, a real estate investment management firm, where she held a variety of senior leadership positions including her roles as Senior Managing Director and global head of Heitman’s Public Real Estate Securities business from 2013 to 2018. Ms. Sandstrom oversaw the growth of assets under management to more than $5 billion invested in domestic and global funds, as well as separately managed accounts. Additionally, Ms. Sandstrom served on Heitman’s Global Management Committee, the Board of Managers, and the Allocation Committee. Ms. Sandstrom has served on the Board of EastGroup Properties, Inc. (NYSE: EGP), a real estate investment trust, since 2020, and Healthpeak Properties, Inc. (NYSE: PEAK) since 2018. She serves as an Audit committee member and the Chair of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee at EGP. At PEAK, she serves as Chair of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and a member of the Compensation & Human Capital Committees, and Vice Chair of the Board. She is also a certified public accountant.
