Paul Schiffer

Paul is Vice President of Leasing at Urban Edge Properties. Prior to joining Urban Edge, Paul was Senior Leasing Director at Vornado Realty Trust and was part of the transition team during Urban Edge’s founding in 2015. Paul is focused on over 1M square feet across the Puerto Rico portfolio. He oversaw the successful repositioning and remerchandising of The Outlets at Montehiedra in 2015 and continues to create value across the portfolio. In 2017 Paul was one of the first to arrive in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria and led UE’s efforts to rehabilitate and reopen with the local team and the tenants. UE’s centers were among the first to reopen on the island and begin serving their communities at a time when the island population was looking for critical support, a return to work, and a place to simply plug in. Paul has been in the shopping center business for nearly 40 years with the former Rouse Company (23 years) and Tanger Outlets before joining Vornado and subsequently Urban Edge. He is a graduate of West Liberty University. Outside of work, Paul serves as Director and Coach for one of the country’s top club volleyball organizations.
