Matt Marquardt

SVP at Urban Engineers

A Senior Vice President and associate of Urban Engineers, Matthew C. Marquardt, PE, oversees the firm’s facilities design and construction, site development, structural, building systems, airport, transit, and rail departments.

With almost 30 years of experience in the industry, Matt's expertise encompasses the design, inspection, and construction management of a variety of transportation and site/land engineering assignments for both private and public clients.

He is a registered professional engineer in 12 states and has served – or is serving – as a board member or officer of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania, the American Society of Highway Engineers, the Villanova University Engineering Alumni Society, and the PENJERDEL Council. He is also active with the American Society of Civil Engineers, Women’s Transportation Seminar, and IBTTA.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He stays active by biking, walking, and skiing, and he regularly volunteers to his community by coaching soccer and softball. He also serves as a Eucharistic minister at his local church.

Matt earned a master’s in business administration from Widener University and a bachelor’s in civil engineering from Villanova University.
