Mike Leinheiser

VP & Practice Leader for Highways at Urban Engineers

A Vice President and Practice Leader, Michael G. Leinheiser, PE leads the firm’s highway practice area in Pennsylvania.

Throughout his 25 years of experience, Mike has been responsible for the design and management of a wide range of highway engineering assignments within Pennsylvania and Delaware. His experience includes developing all types of civil design and highway design plans, including, but not limited to, horizontal and vertical alignment, traffic control, erosion control, stormwater management, cross-sections, pavement marking, drainage, and signing. His history of success includes a healthy portfolio of total highway reconstructions, widenings, interchange improvements, bridge replacements and rehabilitations, and roadway betterment projects.

When he’s not designed new stretches of highways, Mike enjoys spending time with family and coaching.

A Certified Professional Engineer in Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland, Mike earned his bachelor’s in civil engineering from Drexel University. He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE).
