Joseph Haymes

Joseph Haymes has an extensive work history in the fire and emergency services field. Joseph began their career in 2004 as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Hinsdale Fire Department, where they worked until 2006. From there, they joined the Carol Stream Fire District as a Lieutenant/Paramedic, a position they held for over 16 years until 2022. In August 2022, they transitioned to a new role as a Sales Account Executive - The Fire Academy at Clarion Events Inc. - North America.

Joseph Haymes completed their associate's degree in Fire Science from the College of DuPage in 2015. Prior to that, they attended Northern Illinois University from 2000 to 2003, studying Psychology. In 2003, they also obtained a Paramedic License from Christ Hospital, specializing in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic). Joseph also holds additional certifications, including Advanced FireFighter, Fire Apparatus Engineer, Fire Officer 1, HazMat Operations, and Paramedic, all obtained in Illinois.
