Urban Field Studio
Jane Lin is a lecturer at UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design since August 2018, teaching courses in urban design. As a partner at Urban Field Studio, Jane Lin focuses on urban design services with an emphasis on the public realm and human interaction. Serving as an artist in residence at Leap - Arts In Education, Jane Lin teaches architecture to K-8 students in the San Francisco Bay Area. Jane Lin founded Mama Tong, a Chinese soup company, and previously worked as an associate urban designer at Field Paoli Architects, contributing to redevelopment strategies for several cities in California. Jane Lin's educational background includes multiple degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, in architecture and city planning, complemented by early career roles as a graduate student instructor and energy consultant.
