Saad Shamsi is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Urban Grid, having previously worked at Shell as the Head of Delivery for renewables projects in the Americas. Prior to that, Saad played a key role in the growth of Silicon Ranch Corporation after Shell purchased a stake. Additionally, Saad started their career as an Electrical Engineer at Valero Energy Corporation and later worked at Motiva Enterprises LLC on a major refinery expansion project. Saad holds a Master of Business Administration from Texas McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston.
