Katrina Kanepone has a diverse work experience in various design roles. Katrina currently works at Urban Gym Group as the Design Team Lead, overseeing a team of designers and mentoring them in design work and soft skills development. Previously, they worked at Tommy Hilfiger as a Graphic Designer, creating visual concepts for campaigns and producing marketing assets. Katrina also worked as a Visual Designer at Loyal Hound, where they provided visual design solutions for clients across Europe. Additionally, they have experience as a Freelance Creative Designer, creating brand visual identities for clients and improving their management and communication skills. Katrina has also worked at Treatwell as a Digital Designer, creating assets for the beauty bookings platform, and at Sytac IT Consulting as a Graphic Designer, creating various print and digital design assets for clients. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Junior Graphic Designer at Foreign Embassy, a design agency in Latvia.
Katrina Kanepone obtained a Bachelor's degree in Design from the Art Academy of Latvia between 2012 and 2016. Katrina also participated as an Erasmus student in Product design at Politecnico di Torino from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Riga Art and Design Secondary School from 2007 to 2010, specializing in Glass design and Product design. In 2009, they took part in the Leonardo Da Vinci study exchange program at the High School of Design and art of Brno, earning a EURO PASS certificate in Design.
