Ryk Benade

Ryk Benade is a seasoned professional in brand management and design, currently serving as Head of Brand at Urban Gym Group since August 2022. Prior to this role, Ryk was Manager of Brand and Content at Smartphonehoesjes.nl and Creative Team Lead at Treatwell, where responsibilities included overseeing B2C and B2B marketing campaigns and managing a design team. Ryk's extensive experience also includes positions as Head of Digital Magazine Production at Media24, where the design and development of digital magazines were key focuses, and Art Director at spree.co.za, where fresh design solutions were implemented. Ryk’s early career involved graphic design for Touchlab and musical contributions as a guitarist for Kidofdoom. Ryk holds a BA in Information Design from the University of Pretoria.
