Cassandra James

Cassandra James is currently the Supervisor-Elect for Solano County, representing the First District (Greater Vallejo), with a swearing-in ceremony scheduled for a future date. Cassandra's extensive experience includes serving as the Vice Chair Commissioner for the Housing & Community Development Commission in Vallejo and as an Elected Delegate for the California Democratic Party. Within the Mayor’s Office of Housing & Community Development in San Francisco, Cassandra has held positions as a Senior Community Development Specialist and Community Development Specialist, focusing on funding programs related to housing equity and community development. Previous roles include working as a Senior Eligibility Worker, Health Worker, and Crisis Intervention Specialist, and Cassandra is actively involved in community organizations such as the Vallejo Housing Justice Coalition and the New Leaders Council. Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Economics, Policy & Law from Mills College and is pursuing a Master of Public Affairs at the University of California, Berkeley.
