Alba Rubio, M.S. 🌐

Alba Rubio, M.S. has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and events. From March 2018 to December 2021, they worked as an Administrative and Communications Specialist & Secretary to the Board of Directors at Urban Health Partnerships. In this role, they managed project communications, directed internal and external communications, and collaborated with board members and program directors for communications and awareness campaigns. From December 2021 to present, they hold the role of Communications and Events Strategist at Urban Health Partnerships, where they implement and executes marketing, communications, and event strategies. Their responsibilities include managing online platforms, creating multimedia content, and initiating mass digital communications. Alba also provides leadership in coordinating project and organizational events. Prior to their role at Urban Health Partnerships, they worked as a Program Coordinator at Miami Music Project from June 2017 to December 2018, where they maintained an organized system for tracking and prioritizing tasks. Alba also handled internal communications for student recruitment and registration processes and coordinated key events for the program.

Alba Rubio, M.S. obtained a Master of Science degree in Mass Communications: Global Strategic Communications, with distinction, from Florida International University in the academic year 2019-2020. Additionally, they completed a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution & Consensus Building from the same institution in the year 2020. Prior to their master's degree, Alba earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Studies Music Business from Berklee College of Music in 2019. Alba also holds an Associate's Degree in Film Production from Miami Dade College. Alba further enhanced their skills by completing the Jr Cloud Practitioner Program in Cloud Development through ChooseU. Alba has also obtained several certifications, including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2022, as well as certifications in UX design from Google in July 2022 and May 2022.
