Technical Theatre Urban Missionary at Urban Impact Foundation, Pittsburgh

Adam Kennard is a skilled technical theatre professional with extensive experience in managing and executing scenic designs. Currently serving as a Technical Theatre Urban Missionary at Urban Impact Foundation in Pittsburgh since February 2016, Adam oversees the StageCraft program. Previous roles include Project Manager, Technical Designer, and Job Lead at Carnegie Scenic Studios, where responsibilities spanned budget management, crew coordination, and technical design. Adam also has experience as a Scenic Carpenter at Mystic Scenic Studios, Technical Director at Saint Michael's Playhouse, and Technical Director/Facility Manager at Temple Independent School District. Education includes a Master of Fine Arts in Technical Direction from Carnegie Mellon University, supplemented by training in lighting technology and stage craft.
