Ben Upham

Ben Upham is a Senior Technical Project Manager at Urban Insight. Prior to this, they were with Destini Global, LLC from January 2016 to January 2018 as a Senior Project Manager and Product Manager. Ben's responsibilities there included development of, and improvements to, the Destini Locator - a consumer-facing product locator web app for CPG brands - as well as new features and improvements to customer-facing CMS. Ben also product-managed the roadmap, wireframing, design, development, and release of a new starter-tier locator product - which accelerated growth with small, emerging brands while reducing onboarding cost - and introduced Agile Scrum as part of the process.

Other notable accomplishments during their time at Destini Global include managing the rollout of new client dashboard tools (including data analytics tools for tracking end-user behavior in locators), overseeing $500k-$1MM enterprise implementations for Hain Celestial, Kellogg's, and Coca-Cola (including data normalization and custom feature development), managing a data warehousing project moving retail scan data feed from external API (SOAP) to internal warehousing on Redshift (improving query speed 500% for key client), and authoring internal SQL applications to monitor, query and troubleshoot external (iRI, Nielsen) and internal (SPINS) retail sales data feeds (improving case outcomes for customer success and providing valuable intelligence to the sales team when pitching prospective clients).
