Damir Cosic

Damir Cosic is a seasoned researcher currently serving as a Principal Research Associate at the Urban Institute since September 2023. Prior to this role, Damir held multiple positions, including Associate Analyst at the Congressional Budget Office from May 2021 to August 2023 and Senior Research Associate at the Urban Institute from July 2015 to May 2021. Damir has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Lecturer at Hunter College and Brooklyn College, and as a QR Fellow at Kingsborough Community College. The educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, a Master's in Economics from Hunter College, and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Zagreb.
