Daniel Mohamed's work experience begins in 2009 with their role as a Researcher at Pryme Private Equity. Daniel conducted research, administration, and provided creative input for various international projects. In 2010, they also took on the position of Duty Manager at The Big Sleep Hotel, where they were responsible for managing the hotel overnight.
In 2012, Daniel worked as a Student Planner at the Vale of Glamorgan Council, gaining insight into strategic planning and heritage work within the Welsh planning system. Daniel then joined Washbourne Field Planning in 2014 as an Assistant Planner, assisting with research, policy analysis, and report writing for planning applications.
Since 2014, Daniel has been the Founder & Managing Director of Urban Intelligence Ltd, where they have been involved in all aspects of establishing the company. This includes developing skills in business planning, strategy, market analysis, fundraising, and managing a diverse team of professionals.
Overall, Daniel has experience in research, administration, management, planning, and entrepreneurship.
Daniel Mohamed began their education journey in 2007 at the University of the Arts London, where they pursued a Foundation Degree in Arts with a focus on Lighting Design & Practice. Daniel completed this program in 2009. In 2010, Daniel enrolled at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in City & Regional Planning. Daniel successfully completed this degree in 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, Daniel attended UCL from 2014 to 2015, obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) in Urban Regeneration.
Aside from their formal education, Daniel has also obtained various certifications. In 2013, they acquired the International Certificate for Operator of Pleasure Craft and the Maritime Radio Operator Certificate of Competence - Short Range from the Royal Yachting Association. The following year, in 2014, Daniel obtained the National Powerboat Certificate - Level 2, also from the Royal Yachting Association. In 2020, they participated in the Barclays Scale Up UK Programme and completed the Executive Education at Cambridge Judge Business School.
