Swasti Shah

Swasti Shah has extensive work experience in urban planning and community engagement. Swasti worked at Urban Land Institute Chicago as the Director of Community Engagement since 2013. Prior to that, they were an Urban Planner at HNTB Corporation for six years, where they managed various projects related to transit and land use development. Swasti also worked as an Architect at InterDesign from 1998 to 1999.

Swasti Shah completed their education at Mahadevi Birla Girls Higher Secondary School from 1978 to 1993. Swasti then pursued a Bachelor of Architecture degree at Jadavpur University from 1993 to 1998. Following that, they obtained a Master of Urban Planning degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1999 to 2001.
