Nina McDowell has a diverse work experience in the marketing and corporate partnerships field. Nina began their career at Radio Disney as part of the promotions team from 2008 to 2009. Nina then worked as an office/sales manager at Voice Over Productions from 2007 to 2012. Nina joined Clear Channel Communications as an integrated media specialist in 2012 before moving to Miami Lakes Automall as a marketing coordinator from 2013 to 2016. In 2013, they also started their own business, An Eagle Reign, where they served as the owner/president. The most recent part of their career was spent at the Urban League of Broward County, where they held various roles including marketing manager, director of marketing and corporate partnerships, and currently serves as the senior director of marketing and corporate partnerships.
Nina McDowell attended Southwestern Academy until 2003, after which their education history begins. From 2003 to 2007, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in both Political Science and English at the University of Michigan. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs at Wayne State University from 2007 to 2010.

Founded in 1975 as the 104th affiliate of the National Urban League, the Urban League of Broward County is a community based organization dedicated to assisting African Americans in the achievement of social and economic equality. The fundamental objective of the Urban League of Broward County is to enable those who are moving toward the mainstream to achieve economic self-reliance and to enjoy their rights as equal citizens under the law.
