Briston Mitchell

Briston Mitchell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in workforce development and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Workforce Development at the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio since July 2025, Briston previously held the position of Director of Transformative Initiatives and Relationships at the Greater Cincinnati African American Chamber of Commerce from May 2021 to August 2025, where notable achievements included enhancing partnerships and managing project budgets. Earlier, Briston worked at the U.S. Court of Appeals, 6th Circuit, where roles progressed from Case Manager I to Case Manager II, focusing on improving operational efficiency and developing training manuals. Additionally, Briston contributed to Kroger as the Corporate Diversity & Inclusion Manager and held various positions in the Property Tax and Merchandising Departments. Briston holds an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Cincinnati.
