Kayla Francis

Kayla Francis currently serves as a Career Engagement Specialist at the Urban League of Hampton Roads, Inc. since March 2025. Previously, Kayla worked at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art as a Capital Campaign Coordinator from April 2023 to November 2024, where responsibilities included securing funding for a new building project and implementing onboarding procedures for board members. Prior to that, Kayla held the role of Executive Assistant to the Office of the CEO at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art, coordinating Board of Directors meetings and providing high-level administrative support. Kayla began a career in hospitality as a Sales Administrative Assistant at VisitNorfolk from January 2020 to April 2023, supporting National Sales Managers and managing departmental budgets. Education was received at Tidewater Community College.
