Michele Bowersox

Michele Bowersox is a dedicated case manager at Urban Ministries of Wake County since April 2023, bringing a breadth of experience in social work and program coordination. Prior roles include serving as a program coordinator at North Carolina State University from April 2022 to December 2022, and as a graduate assistant at the GLBT Center from August 2021 to May 2022. Michele's career began at The Home Depot as a sales floor associate from January 2019 to September 2021, alongside an internship in tobacco prevention at the Leon County Health Department from January to May 2020. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University.
