United Methodists in the Kansas East, Kansas West and Nebraska United Methodist conferences voted in 2012 to form a new annual conference beginning Jan. 1, 2014. The three conferences were assigned a common bishop in 2012.

The Pastoral Team at Urban Ministry Cooperative Parish focuses on spiritual leadership and community engagement, fostering connections within the congregation and providing pastoral care. Led by the Senior Pastor, the team comprises the Purpose Pastor, who helps individuals discover their spiritual paths, the Care Pastor, who supports members through challenging times, and the Connections Pastor, who enhances community relationships and outreach efforts. Together, they aim to cultivate a supportive and vibrant faith community.
