Samuel Tatum, Jr. has a wealth of experience in various roles within the media and retail industries. Samuel started their career at Edison Brothers Apparel Stores as a General Manager/Market Manager, where they successfully managed operations of five stores in the Baltimore market. Samuel then moved on to CBS/Infinity Broadcasting as a Marketing Specialist/Account Executive, where their primary responsibilities included client relations, new business development, and creating strategic marketing plans for clients. In 2004, they joined Radio One as a Senior Account Executive before being promoted to Local Sales Manager & Director of Special Events, and eventually General Sales Manager/Director of Special Events. Samuel's success in driving revenue, coaching and developing sales talent, and implementing integrated marketing ideas helped him outpace the market and increase market share. Most recently, Samuel has been working at Urban One, Inc as the Vice President of Integrated Marketing & Partnerships, where they continue to demonstrate their strategic planning abilities and grow the organization's market position.

Samuel Tatum, Jr. has a strong educational background in the field of Marketing and Mass Communications. Samuel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Lehman College in 1997. Samuel further pursued their education at Towson University, where they obtained a BS degree in Mass Communications/Marketing/Public Relations from 1997 to 1999. Samuel then continued their academic journey at the University of Phoenix from 2006 to 2008, where they completed an MBA degree with a focus on Marketing.
