Simon Farr is an experienced hospitality professional currently serving as the Global Director of Guest Experience at Urban Rest since November 2022, overseeing the Guest Relations, Operations, and Housekeeping teams to deliver exceptional experiences for guests. Prior to this role, Simon held the position of General Manager at The Ascott Limited, where responsibilities included managing the Citadines Connect Sydney Airport and achieving high customer satisfaction levels. Previous experience includes general management roles at 8Hotels Boutique Hotel Co., where Simon led the pre-opening of Sydney's first boutique airport hotel and was instrumental in establishing operational foundations, as well as management positions at Orange Ex-Services' Club and Turners Vineyard Motel & Function Centre. Simon holds a Bachelor of Business in Business Management from Charles Sturt University.
