Tom Jones

Tom Jones currently serves as VP of Sales and Programs at Urban Sky, focusing on high-altitude platforms for stratospheric payloads and ISR capabilities. Since July 2019, Tom has also been a Startup Mentor at Techstars, guiding new startups within the Starburst Space Accelerator. Previously, Tom held senior sales positions at Maxar Technologies, where responsibilities included Earth Intelligence sales and strategic accounts management, while also contributing to the property insights sector as VP of Sales at arturo.ai. Tom's extensive background in geospatial data and defense is further highlighted by roles at DigitalGlobe and Exelis Visual Information Solutions. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder.
