Jacob Landry

Jacob Landry is the Founder and CEO of Urban South Brewery, a rapidly growing brewery and taproom in New Orleans, LA, which opened in 2016. Landry has a diverse background in education and management, having served as an Adjunct Lecturer in Entrepreneurial Management at Tulane University and Principal at an Independent Consulting firm focused on education. Landry's previous roles include Chief Strategy Officer for Jefferson Parish Public Schools, where significant improvements were made in the district's performance, and Executive Director of the Office of Parental Options at the Louisiana Department of Education, overseeing state-authorized charter schools and educational voucher programs. Landry holds an MBA from Tulane University, a Master of Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a BA/BS from Louisiana State University, alongside a certificat from Sciences Po Aix.
